About
We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders within our logistics facility. Your attention to detail and speed will be crucial to our overall operational success. Responsibilities include:
- Reading pick lists and accurately locating items within the warehouse.
- Using scanning devices to track inventory and update order status.
- Retrieving items for orders, ensuring correct product and quantity.
- Packing orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Moving inventory to packing or shipping stations using manual or powered equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure Safety.
- Adhering to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wearing appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and possesses excellent attention to detail. This position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and some manual Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous. We prioritize Safety in our operations, and all employees are expected to follow Safety protocols diligently. Join our team and be a key player in our distribution process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting and bending.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety and inventory procedures.
- Strong time management and accuracy skills.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
