About
We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Austin, Texas. This role is integral to our daily operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient movement and storage of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders, contributing to the smooth running of our logistics network. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming merchandise using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to pick lists or electronic orders.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and support logistics.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual lifting and carrying.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing needs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles is a plus.
