Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Boise, Idaho . In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary goal is to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse, contributing significantly to our overall Logistics operations. This position requires a valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience. You will handle the loading and unloading of trucks, organize inventory in designated racking systems, and support order picking and fulfillment activities. Meticulous attention to detail is essential for accurate inventory management and preventing damage to goods. The role involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of items, and adherence to all Safety regulations is paramount. You must consistently wear the mandated PPE , which includes safety shoes, hard hats, and high-visibility vests. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
  • Load and unload pallets and merchandise from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas and production lines.
  • Perform regular checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning and reporting.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear all required PPE at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Ensure compliance with all Logistics and warehouse operational standards.
  • Participate in warehouse organization and tidiness initiatives.
