We're seeking dedicated Order Pickers for our growing logistics operation in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse storage locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the items picked against the order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stage picked items in the designated areas for consolidation, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring ease of access and safety.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to your supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the broader logistics function.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a significant advantage.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear assigned PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
