About
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our San Jose, California facility. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods throughout the warehouse. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing adherence to all operational procedures and Safety regulations. This position requires precision, speed, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Stack and arrange merchandise securely in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Follow all warehouse Safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Responsible for tasks that may involve significant Lifting and material movement.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to Safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
