We are seeking a reliable and industrious Distribution Center Associate to contribute to our operations in Chicago, Illinois. This role is multifaceted, involving various aspects of warehouse management to ensure the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with inventory management tasks. We prioritize safety above all else; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly preferred. You will work collaboratively with a team to meet daily operational goals and contribute to overall efficiency. Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Continuous improvement and problem-solving are encouraged.
