About
We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Boise, Idaho. This is an essential role responsible for supporting the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Your duties will include receiving, inspecting, sorting, and stocking incoming merchandise, as well as picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders. You will work within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the job, including proper handling procedures, the use of warehouse equipment, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and sort incoming inventory according to established procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and using PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
