About
We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Omaha, Nebraska facility. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and securely packed for shipment. You will be responsible for identifying, retrieving, and preparing products, then carefully packaging them to prevent damage during transit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . This position is key to maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our Logistics network. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on high-quality fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory using pick lists and RF scanners.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and surrounding areas.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear the required PPE at all times.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- This role involves frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity for careful handling and packing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical stamina and moderate Lifting .
- Team player with a positive attitude.
