Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily operations at our Richmond, Virginia distribution center. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory, from receiving to shipping. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enforcing safety protocols. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure operational goals are met. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and team leadership is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our growing Logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including scheduling and task assignment.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implement and enforce all company policies and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely processing of goods.
  • Manage tasks requiring physical effort, including overseeing proper Lifting techniques and weight limits, often up to 50 pounds.
  • Ensure all employees correctly use required PPE .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations best practices.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other relevant Safety standards.
