Food Server

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions guests may have regarding the menu.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash register systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.
