Purpose:

The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and strategic alignment of the company's information technology systems across all corporate offices. This role leads the planning, implementation, and day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and end-user services to support business continuity, operational efficiency, and organizational growth while safeguarding company data and technology assets.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serve as primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

· Coordinate with external IT vendors when advanced system or updates are required.

· Maintain and update the company website, ensuring accurate content, consistent branding, and professional appearance.

· Maintain cybersecurity protocols and ongoing updates to system protections for all company locations.

· Collaborate with leadership to design and implement new features that align with business objectives.

· Monitor website performance, usability, and security, addressing issues promptly.

· Manage website analytics, reporting key data to management, and recommending improvements for visibility and engagement.

· Ensure web content is compliant with accessibility standards and responsive across devices.

· Coordinate with outside contractors to manage and oversee all aspects of phone system management for the company as follows:

* Functionality of company phone systems. * Set up, configure, and deactivate phones. * Troubleshoot connectivity issues. * Monitor and address system performance. * Maintain system configuration records and update documentation as required.

· Coordinates and directs IT meetings at all company locations.

· Oversees IT responsibilities being completed by the Safety and IT Core Support person.

· Places orders for new IT hardware/software products as needed.

· Manage IT tracking for all warehouse locations and create/monitor vendor support tickets: (MircoTech/Tech2Success of out-of-scope issues.)

· Reports to the Vice-President of the company.

Required Knowledge and Skills

· IT service management principles and operational best practices.

· Multi-site network architecture (LAN/WAN, VPN, internet redundancy)

· Network security fundamentals including firewalls, access controls, and wireless security

· Server and systems administration (Windows/Linux, Active Directory, Azure AD)

· Virtualization platforms and infrastructure lifecycle management

· Cloud and SaaS environments (Microsoft 365, identity management, licensing models)

· Cybersecurity frameworks, endpoint protection, and incident response concepts

· Backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

· End-user computing environments and enterprise device management

· IT policy development, governance, and compliance requirements

· Vendor management, contract structures, and SLA management

· IT budgeting, cost control, and capital planning principles

· Project management and change management methodologies

· Technology risk assessment and mitigation strategies

· Executive-level technical communication and confidentiality standards

Required Education and Experience.

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field from a four-year College or university; or four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, systems, and end-user support.

· 3+ years in an IT leadership or management role, supervising staff and/or vendors.

· Hands-on experience supporting a multi-site organization with 150+ users.

· Proven experience administering networks, servers, and enterprise systems.

· Experience managing cloud platforms and SaaS environments (e.g., Microsoft 365).

· Demonstrated responsibility for IT security, backup, and disaster recovery practices.

· Experience managing IT vendors, contracts, and service providers.

· Budgeting and cost-control experience for IT operations and technology projects.

· Track record of leading IT projects, upgrades, or system migrations.

· Experience communicating with executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

· Valid driver's license.

Work Environment

· Primary work will be in the administrative office in Boise, ID with occasional visits to company locations in Blackfoot and Twin Falls, ID, as well as Richland, WA.

· Work hours will be 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, although depending on unforeseen factors it may be necessary at times for an earlier arrival or a later departure from work.

· Business casual dress for attire.

· Follow all health protocol and safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to see well enough to read standard text with or without corrective lenses.

· Ability to hear, with or without hearing support devices, well enough to converse on the telephone.

· Ability to speak well enough to converse verbally with others, especially on the telephone.

· Sufficient manual dexterity to write and operate office machines.

· Ability to stand, climb stairs, drive, and perform minor lifting

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
