Machine Operator

Looking to hire asap for our form/fill machine in our OKC location.

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of form/fill/seal machines in a small manufacturing environment. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of machines to meet production targets and quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust machines according to specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure the proper functioning and identify any malfunctions or deviations from standards.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.
• Conduct regular inspections of machines and perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Record production data, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and any quality issues.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient operation of manufacturing machines and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a related manufacturing role is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and use hand tools.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
