Production Helper

About the Role:

The Production Helper - Field plays a crucial role in supporting the production team by assisting in various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of yard activities. This position is responsible for preparing materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. The Production Helper will also collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. By performing these duties, the Production Helper helps to enhance overall productivity and quality in the yard.

The "Field" Production Helper is predominantly in the yard, handling more yard production oversight, with greater exposure to safety concerns as that of the "Onsite" Production Helper.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a salvage, recycling, production or manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with operating basic production equipment.
• Certification in safety training or first aid.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of production equipment and materials in the yard.
• Support the production team by preparing and organizing necessary supplies for daily operations.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the production site.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any production-related issues.
• Document and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered during production activities.
• Often in the yard and helping with yard activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, which are essential for performing field tasks effectively.
