Part Time Cashier 2-10pm Shift

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Part Time Cashier for the 2-10pm shift with a possibility of going into full time. You will always be scheduled with another Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing transactions. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

• Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
• Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience in cash handling is preferred but not required
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
• Basic sales knowledge to promote products or services when appropriate
• Proficient phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Familiarity with operating a cash register or scanning point-of-sale system
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly checkout area and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
