Runner/Busser/Host

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Runner/Busser/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring smooth service flow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service or related industries. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage host stand operations to seat customers efficiently
• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Assist servers by bussing tables, delivering food, and refilling beverages as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing supplies
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when required
• Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during food service and cleaning procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries courteously and professionally
• Assist with catering setups or special events as needed to support restaurant operations

Skills

• Experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized
• Previous experience as a busser, host, or server is advantageous but not required
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
