With over 57 years of experience in custom cabinetry, Tri-Tex Cabinets can design, craft and install custom unfinished cabinetry for all of your needs. Tri-Tex Cabinets is a full service custom cabinet manufacturer, creating unfinished custom built cabinets for new home construction and remodels throughout North Texas.

SUMMARY

Analyzes and communicates with customers to design the CAD drawings for their cabinet layout. Responsible for capturing all customer desires and making them come to life through the company's software programs. Also works with shop team to ensure construction is completed as drawn.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analyze and interpret construction blueprints and specifications

· Develop plans and models for production while ensuring optimal use of materials, construction methodology, manufacturing and installation

· Create detailed shop drawings, diagrams, and instructions to complete work order

· Create job specific production machinery computer code files that can be used by operators

· Making sure all mistakes are mitigated and that the designs meet our customer's requirements

· Communicate with Builder, Architect, and Owner as needed

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· AutoCad, Cabinet Vision, Cut Rite, BlueBeam and/or Alpha Cam experience preferred

· High level of construction blueprint reading skills preferred

· Advanced computer and applications knowledge

· Must read, write, and speak English

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

· Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Expected hours: 40 per week
