Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to contribute effectively to our budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts. This role requires proficiency in various financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Tableau and Power BI.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements and cash flow analyses.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VBA for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Implement cost accounting practices to enhance profitability analysis.
  • Leverage ERP systems for efficient data collection and management.
  • Engage in quantitative research to identify trends and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to visualize data effectively for stakeholders.
  • Assist in investment banking activities by providing analytical support for corporate finance initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governmental accounting standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VBA).
  • Experience with financial software such as Hyperion or Bloomberg is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and analytics.
  • Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
  • Ability to perform quantitative analysis with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical skills and a solid grasp of budgeting processes.
