Become a key player in our fulfillment process as an Order Picker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for efficiently locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment within our fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a commitment to safety are crucial for success in this logistics-focused position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists or instructions from supervisors or via a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product information, quantity, and condition before picking.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate RF scanners and other picking equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.
- Regularly perform lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Prioritize safety in all picking and packing activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Experience with lifting and handling products safely.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics.
