You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing inventory using various equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (certification may be required). Your duties will encompass receiving materials, transporting them to designated storage areas, and preparing them for shipment. Safety is our top priority, so a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are essential. The ideal candidate possesses excellent physical stamina, capable of frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, and has a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. This position requires you to be organized, efficient, and a reliable team player. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping operations as needed.
- Ensure the safe handling of all materials, including proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
