Our Columbus, Ohio facility is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dedicated logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport inventory to and from storage areas, and assist in order fulfillment processes. Maintaining a safe operating environment is our top priority, so a thorough understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices is essential. This includes pre-operation inspections, proper maneuvering in congested areas, and responsible use of lifting equipment. We expect all our operators to be vigilant about their surroundings and the safety of their colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. Experience with different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is highly desirable. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving Lifting, often of heavy items. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and adhering to strict Safety guidelines. Proper utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
