About
Become a key member of our logistics team as a Distribution Center Associate in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be involved in the core functions of our distribution center, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods. Your duties will include receiving and processing inventory, picking and packing customer orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Operating various pieces of warehouse equipment safely and contributing to a clean and organized work environment are also key aspects of this position. We are dedicated to safety and expect all associates to adhere to our safety policies and correctly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect inbound shipments, verifying quantities and quality against documentation.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product integrity during shipping.
- Assemble, label, and stage shipments for outgoing transportation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to established logistics standards.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures, making safety a top priority.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counting processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with fellow associates and supervisors to achieve operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and technology, such as RF scanners.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and a dedication to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to contribute to a positive work environment.
