Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, protecting them from damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and movement of goods.
- Follow all guidelines for safe lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand product information and order details.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
