We are seeking an efficient Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as required.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic. Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs. Safety is a core value in our operations, and all employees must strictly follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. A basic understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes will be beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our logistics success.
