Our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Workers to join our team. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our facility, contributing to the efficient handling of goods. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. This position plays a vital part in our logistics network, ensuring that products move smoothly and accurately through our supply chain. We value hard work, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate locations using WMS.
- Pick, pack, and assemble orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail. Prior warehouse experience is an advantage. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and standing for extended periods. We are dedicated to fostering a safe workplace, and expect all employees to prioritize safety and properly use all provided PPE. A foundational understanding of logistics and warehouse operations will be beneficial for success in this role.
