About
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively develops and sustains meaningful relationships with both potential and existing clients in a multistate region.
- Utilizes various methods including social media platforms, cold calling, and attendance at trade shows, to identify and locate new clients.
- Remains proficient in public speaking and comfortable conveying ideas to groups.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of the field and product features to precisely match products with the unique needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Prepares comprehensive annual and quarterly strategy reports, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
- Utilizes a CRM tool to track opportunities and capture contacts and manage sales leads.
- Presents project information, quotes, and other bid specifications to clients.
- Collaborates with various departments regarding customer needs.
- Performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
- Associate's Degree in Business, Sales, or Engineering Technology, Technical Certificate, or 3+ years' relevant experience in technical or business-to-business sales.
- Experience in municipal and industrial water or wastewater business preferred.
- Experience with a consulting engineering firm and familiarity with Airvac products is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively write and/or present information professionally, and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Ability to work as a team in a collaborative environment as well as individually.
- Software proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Salesforce experience preferred.
