Job Summary
We're seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the face of Hudson & West — assisting customers in person and by phone, answering questions about products, processing orders, and ensuring each customer leaves satisfied. What You'll Do
- Greet and assist customers in store and on the phone with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Answer questions about our products, including doors, windows, hardware, woodworking tools, and finishes.
- Provide accurate product information, recommendations, and support to help customers make informed purchases.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Manage door ordering responsibilities when needed (for $24/hr candidates).
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on inventory and specials.
- Support teammates with shared tasks and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Use point-of-sale systems and basic computer software to complete transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required (door ordering experience preferred for higher pay).
- Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain professional and calm in high-traffic retail situations.
- Comfortable with learning product details and sharing recommendations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in retail, home improvement, woodworking supply, or related field.
- Door ordering and product specification experience (pay rate $24/hr ).
