- Serve as the secondary liaison with ORR and act as Program Director during periods of leave.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Director to ensure all ORR‑required services are provided consistently and in compliance with policy.
- Directly supervise Case Manager Supervisors, Case Managers, Administrative Coordinators, and other assigned staff.
- Ensure all staff are appropriately hired, trained, and onboarded.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance requirements for the office are met and maintained.
- Participate in case staffing and engage in multidisciplinary problem‑solving for complex cases.
- Develop and propose program policies and procedures to the Program Director.
- Foster a work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates high‑quality staff.
- Maintain an active and accessible presence to support day‑to‑day program operations.
- Participate in the practice and continued implementation of the Sanctuary Model.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support successful program or departmental operations.
- Child Abuse Reporting, Follow‑up, and Intervention
- Crisis De‑escalation and Physical Restraint Techniques (evidence‑based practices)
- Commitment to accountability and respect for all individuals across Morrison, clients, and community stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science plus 5 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare agency or organization
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory, leadership, or management experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older prior to employment (ORR requirement)
- Position requires ORR approval; exceptions must be explicitly approved in writing by ORR prior to hire and may include additional training or supervision plans
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, written, read and verbal. Must clear a language proficiency test for Spanish.
- Prior ORR experience
- Case management experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations
- Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma, abuse/neglect, substance abuse, delinquency, peer influence, and related interventions
- Ability to work shift hours and days as assigned; may require occasional work outside standard hours
- Ability to travel at least once per month
- Pass a criminal history background check though Morrison and a suitability determination investigation through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. For further information review:
- Valid driver's license and, if using a personal vehicle, maintenance of required auto insurance
- Completion of 40 hours of required annual training
