About Straight Path Real Estate Solutions

Straight Path Real Estate Solutions LLC is a fast-scaling real estate investment and development company operating across the Charlotte metro region. We acquire, renovate, develop, and manage residential and commercial properties — including off-market acquisitions, build-to-rent projects, land development, and private capital–backed construction. Our work spans multiple entities with a high volume of transactions and investor activity.

We operate with clarity, integrity, and entrepreneurial speed — and we're looking for an Accounting Manager who can bring order, accuracy, and scalability to a growing and diverse financial operation.

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for owning the financial backbone of all SPRES companies. This includes bookkeeping oversight, monthly financials, cash management, job costing, partner/investor reporting, and maintaining clean, audit-ready records across multiple LLCs and project lines.

You will build and manage accounting systems that support land acquisitions, construction draws, private lending, capital raises, property flips, rental portfolios, and development projects.

This is a hands-on role for a detailed, organized operator who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can bring structure to multiple simultaneous projects.

Key Responsibilities Daily / Weekly

  • Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online for multiple entities
  • Reconcile all accounts (checking, credit cards, LOCs, construction loans)
  • Oversee A/P & A/R, including vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and closings
  • Track project budgets, job costs, and construction expenses

  • Prepare distributions and reporting for private lenders/investors
  • Coordinate month-end and quarter-end closing procedures
  • Update internal dashboards for performance tracking

Quarterly / Annual

  • Prepare financial packages for CPA (tax prep, K-1 support, year-end reviews)
  • Support cost segregation studies, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking
  • Maintain compliance for QOZ Funds (if applicable)
  • Assist with capital raise reporting and entity structuring documentation

Systems & Tools You Will Own

  • QuickBooks Online (multi-entity structure)
  • (project tracking, budgets, job costing — if integrated)
  • Google Sheets / Excel (KPI dashboards, underwriting inventory, cash flow models)
  • Docusign / Dropbox / CRM systems for document organization
  • Loan/subcontractor/vendor file management

  • Experience with private lender interest tracking and amortization schedules a plus

  • Ability to build processes and improve financial workflows
  • High integrity, high accuracy, low ego, and strong communication skills

Who Thrives in This Role

  • Someone who brings structure to chaos and builds systems that scale
  • Someone who communicates clearly and documents everything

Compensation
