Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Scheduling Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by effectively coordinating schedules, materials, and resources within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in factory settings, possess mechanical knowledge, and be familiar with assembly lines and warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency
  • Coordinate with production teams, warehouse staff, and management to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with procurement for replenishment needs
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklift equipment to assist in material handling and assembly as needed
  • Track production progress and adjust schedules proactively to address any delays or issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule equipment servicing and prevent downtime
  • Document production activities and prepare reports for management review

Skills

  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within a factory or warehouse setting
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly procedures, and inventory management systems
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating across departments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and troubleshoot operational issues efficiently
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus, along with knowledge of safety protocols in industrial settings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
