Structural Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Structural Senior Project Engineer to join our structural engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large, moderate, and small-scale projects across a wide range of building types and structural systems, including concrete, steel, masonry, cold-formed steel, and wood structures, as well as high seismic and high wind load designs.

The successful candidate will serve as a key technical contributor, collaborating with internal and external disciplines throughout the planning, design, and construction administration phases of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design for building systems, elements, and components.

  • Work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, consultants, and other design professionals.

  • Attend and participate in design and construction meetings.

  • Support Project Managers with analysis and design efforts on large to moderate projects.

  • Assign tasks to and provide technical guidance for project engineers and design staff.

  • Coordinate with BIM staff on the preparation and development of construction documents.

  • Assist contractors with interpretation of construction documents and resolution of field issues.

  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for structural compliance.

  • Perform structural observations during construction as required.
