We are currently seeking a Receptionist.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:- Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or staff.
- Manage the front desk and reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and inviting.
- Provide information to visitors and callers regarding the facility, policies, and services offered.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for residents, staff, and visitors as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and other deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain supplies for the reception area.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Handle emergency situations promptly by contacting the appropriate personnel or emergency services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration preferred
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role, ideally in a health care setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers)
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Compassionate, customer-service-oriented approach with sensitivity to residents and families
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
