Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and reservations promptly.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain detailed records of guest stays, reservations, and billing information with precision.
- Respond swiftly to guest requests, complaints, or issues with a positive attitude and effective solutions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly.
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to safety, security, and guest confidentiality.
- Assist in managing guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
- Support resort operations by contributing to a clean, organized front desk area that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a strong advantage for serving diverse guests effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is essential.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel accounting practices is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling reservations and guest records.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous hotel experience in a resort or similar hospitality setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A professional appearance coupled with friendly demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
