Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shuttle Driver and play a vital role in ensuring smooth transportation services within our facility. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment by providing reliable shuttle services for staff, visitors, and contractors. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be the friendly face that helps keep our operations moving seamlessly while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout your shift.
Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport employees, visitors, and contractors across designated routes within the premises.
- Ensure punctuality and adherence to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to support operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle interior and exterior, including vacuuming floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with light janitorial tasks such as floor care and general cleaning inside the shuttle to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation to guarantee safety for all passengers.
- Support custodial efforts in common areas when needed, including light cleaning and organizing to promote a tidy facility.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proven experience operating vehicles in a professional setting; previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to vehicle operation and passenger transport.
- Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks such as floor care, vacuuming, and surface disinfecting.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, load/unload luggage or equipment, and perform light cleaning duties throughout your shift.
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is beneficial. Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
