Duties

• Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
• Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for timely distribution to various hotel departments or guest rooms
• Perform dry cleaning services for delicate fabrics or special guest requests using appropriate chemicals and techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing equipment and workspaces in accordance with health standards
• Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies, reporting shortages, and ensuring proper storage practices
• Follow established procedures for handling soiled laundry to prevent contamination and ensure hygienic standards are met
• Support overall housekeeping efforts by assisting with light cleaning tasks when needed to uphold the hotel's cleanliness standards

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations, including use of commercial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices for maintaining hygiene in a hospitality environment
• Ability to handle delicate fabrics with care during washing, drying, and ironing processes
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless, properly folded, and organized
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy laundry loads, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Clear communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately
