JOB SUMMARY:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of blinds to our customers. This role plays a key part in maintaining project timelines by ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining the condition of the vehicle and cargo, and providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to assigned locations
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring materials are secure and handled properly
  • Inspect delivery vehicle daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and any issues encountered
  • Communicate with warehouse and managers to confirm delivery details
  • Assist with warehouse tasks when not driving, including loading/unloading trucks and general organization
  • Ensure materials are delivered in good condition and obtain proper signatures upon delivery
  • Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while operating company vehicles
  • Provide courteous and professional service to clients and colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Experience driving box trucks or similar delivery vehicles preferred
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.)
  • Strong time management and route-planning skills
  • Dependable, with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations a plus
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
