Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure smooth production operations. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will help minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, motors, and mechanical parts using welding (including welding), precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose control system faults and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Operate diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to assess electrical circuits—ranging from low voltage to high voltage systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and documentation purposes.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades following schematics and technical specifications.
  • Conduct safety checks on all machinery and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards including HVAC/R systems.
  • Support field service activities by troubleshooting equipment issues on-site at various locations within the manufacturing facility or customer sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and reduce downtime through analysis of failure patterns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including working with industrial electricians on complex systems.
  • Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatics, welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage electrical components.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers accurately.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing automation.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Strong analysis skills to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Excellent customer service mindset when supporting internal teams or external clients during field service tasks.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
  • Valid certifications in welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems preferred; military background highly valued for discipline and technical training background.
  • Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Pay: $ $35.01 per hour
