Scope of Work:
The Sector Supervisor oversees day-to-day facilities maintenance operations within an assigned sector, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and contract standards. This role provides direct supervision to maintenance staff, conducts quality and safety inspections, and supports continuous improvement across all maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily facilities maintenance activities and ensuretimelycompletion of work orders.
- Conduct routine quality inspections to verify work meets contract, technical, and company standards.
- Perform safety inspections, address hazards, and reinforce compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements.
- Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure adequate staffing, tools, and materials for sector operations.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to maintenance personnel.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Communicate effectively with management, customers, and cross-functional teams to support service delivery.
- Document inspection results, track deficiencies, and support corrective and continuous improvement actions.
- Exercise supervisory responsibility to oversee daily operations, ensure task completion, and support overall contract performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
- Shallhave 3 years' experience performing Quality Control inspections on building equipment and systems.
- Previous Journeyman-Level work experience in the commercial construction industry inthe skilledtrades including Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC.
- Experience conducting quality and/or safety inspections inanoperations, maintenance, or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards andmaintenancequality requirements.
- Must be able to travel to different site locations (Tucson/Yuma) to provide in-person support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be ableto satisfactorilycomplete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, ifrequiredfor the position.
- Must be able tomaintainabilityto access government worksite.
- Mustpossessand maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record,in accordance withcompany policy, tooperatevehicles or equipment asrequiredfor the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- This position is primarily performed in an office setting; however, regular site visits and field inspections arerequired.Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active work sites when necessary. This may include standing, walking, bending, or climbing for extended periods while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include but is not limited to a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and a 5-panel drug test, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
