Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including donuts, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other confections with precision and care
• Decorate donuts and pastries using various decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
• Package baked items efficiently while maintaining quality standards for presentation and freshness
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling baked goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed at all times
• Support the team in food production for catering orders or special events as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary environments with a focus on food preparation and food handling
• Strong pastry decorating skills to create attractive designs for various occasions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools efficiently
• Experience in packaging baked items professionally for retail display or takeout orders
• Previous restaurant or catering experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
