Prep Cook

Hamlin House is a Florida-inspired social and racquet club redefining hospitality in Orlando's SoDo neighborhood. Spanning more than 28,000 square feet of indoor–outdoor space, the club features premium pickleball courts, curated cultural experiences, and a vibrant food and beverage program led by Chef John Fraser and JF Restaurants. JF Restaurants is seeking passionate and experienced Prep Cooks to join our esteemed culinary team at Hamlin House. This is a unique opportunity to grow within an award-winning restaurant group.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning food items.
• Assist in basic cooking tasks such as preparing sauces, dressings, and marinades.
• Label and store food prep properly to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, equipment, and storage.
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of kitchen experience
• Open availability
• Strong knowledge of food handling, culinary skills and cooking techniques
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
• Ability to multitask while maintaining quality standards of the restaurant
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
