Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Butterfly Therapy LLC is a family-owned business with centers in Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Port St. Lucie and Margate, FL. We specialize in providing speech and language therapy, as well as occupational therapy, to pediatric patients aged 1-14 years. Our mission is to enhance communication skills and address occupational needs by identifying barriers and implementing effective treatment plans. Our dedicated team of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) is committed to delivering engaging and enjoyable therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs.

We work closely with applied behavior analysis (ABA) services and collaborate with ABA professionals to provide comprehensive support to our clients and their families.

Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

License Required

Role Overview:

As an SLPA, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working within a clinic setting to support our pediatric clients. Your role will involve:

• Assisting speech-language pathologists in the treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implementing speech and language programs or activities as directed by the speech-language pathologists.
• Monitoring the use of alternative communication devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support in the assessment and therapeutic intervention for children with speech and language needs.
• Follow treatment plans and implement activities designed by speech-language pathologists.
• Track and report progress on therapy goals.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, engaging therapy environment.
