Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to optimize seating flow.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure swift and correct transactions.
• Provide attentive table service, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed.
• Pack takeout orders meticulously, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards before delivery or pickup.
• Assist in food prep tasks in the kitchen to support culinary operations during busy periods.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while providing excellent guest relations through friendly communication and prompt service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service roles such as server, host/host, or packer within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for supporting food prep tasks.
