Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Des Moines, Iowa location. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring that inventory data is accurate in our systems. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with warehouse operations, purchasing, and sales teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts and overstocks. This position requires a thorough understanding of inventory management principles and best practices. You will be involved in receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes to ensure accurate tracking of all inventory movements. Proficiency with inventory management software and data analysis tools is crucial. This role demands a high level of accuracy and a commitment to maintaining meticulous records. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. While not primarily a physical role, some Lifting may be required. Adherence to strict Safety protocols is expected. This is a key position within our Logistics operations, impacting overall efficiency and profitability. Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
