About
Our San Diego, California facility is looking for a reliable Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. You will play a key role in managing the flow of materials within the facility, ensuring efficiency and safety. This position requires physical dexterity and a strong understanding of logistics processes. Become a vital part of our supply chain team!
Responsibilities:
- Move, stack, and stage materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Must use required PPE, including hard hats and safety glasses.
