About
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring timely and precise order fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing RF scanners and other equipment to locate and pick items efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also a key aspect of this position. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to our strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve products based on order sheets.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Verify product quantities and types against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent time management skills.
