We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking materials in designated areas. This includes operating various material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed). You will also be responsible for picking, packing, and staging orders for outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly identified and prepared for transport. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles is a plus.
