This position requires significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds, and sustained periods of standing and walking. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and merchandise.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against shipping documents.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Stock shelves and racks, ensuring proper organization and placement.
- Pick items for outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Support the overall logistics and operational flow of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and material movement.
