We are actively recruiting for a Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our logistics network, ensuring efficient processing of goods. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and possesses a strong commitment to workplace safety. Your duties will encompass a range of activities including receiving and stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will be operating warehouse equipment and maintaining organized work areas. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to strictly follow safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE . This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of products. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (with certification), and other warehouse equipment.
- Stage and prepare orders for shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working with scanning equipment and basic computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear designated PPE , including safety vests and glasses.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of general logistics principles is beneficial.
