About
Our facility in Provo, Utah is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and optimize our warehouse operations. This role is vital for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our equipment and systems, supporting our overall logistics and distribution efforts. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all operational machinery is in top working condition. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this critical position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of all machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Install and set up new equipment as required, following technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with inventory management tasks when necessary, supporting the broader logistics team.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on maintaining a safe and productive logistics environment.
- Safely manage lifting requirements for parts and equipment, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role within a warehouse or industrial setting is required. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work with various tools and diagnostic equipment. Experience with warehouse management systems and logistics operations is highly desirable. The ability to read technical manuals and schematics is crucial. This role requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. Proper handling of equipment and parts involving lifting is expected.
