Join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Picker/Packer. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse locations, verifying order details, and securely packing products for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work. You will work with warehouse technology, such as scanners, to manage orders and inventory. This is a hands-on role that involves movement throughout the warehouse and the ability to handle lifting. We prioritize safety above all else, and adherence to safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Be a vital part of our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves according to order fulfillment lists or system prompts.
- Confirm product details, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse management tools to track picking and packing progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and surrounding areas.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or inventory checks.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with products or orders to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with using barcode scanners and basic computer systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work responsibilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and a dedication to a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime as operational needs dictate.
