We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our vibrant logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate selection and retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our ability to meet customer expectations and maintain smooth warehouse operations. You will utilize advanced warehouse technology, including RF scanners and inventory management systems, to ensure accuracy and traceability. This is a physically demanding position that requires you to be on your feet for most of your shift, involving significant movement and lifting. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick various items from warehouse storage locations according to customer order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists, ensuring correct product, quantity, and quality.
- Operate RF scanning equipment to track picks, update inventory, and ensure accuracy in the system.
- Prepare picked items for the next stage of the logistics process, such as packing or staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct routine checks and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with fellow warehouse associates to achieve team efficiency goals.
- Understand and implement best practices in warehouse logistics and order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is highly advantageous.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with warehouse technology, such as RF scanners and inventory systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent work record.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and a proactive approach to safety.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a high-performing logistics team.
